The Millennial's Extremely Practical Comic-Con Shoe Sermon

Hello Bookish Friends & NYCC Enthusiasts, I am The Millennial Menace and I will get you (and your feet) ready to do battle on the Exhibit Floor and deep in the bowels of Artist Alley this October. Okay, but seriously, there are so many things I wish I knew when I first started attending New York Comic-Con in 2018!  One of the goals of this blog is to (hopefully) help new attendees have the best experience they can. Make your first year unforgettable! NYCC is one of my favorite places/events/vibes on earth. It is a mass gathering of people who like the same forms of media, art, literature, film, television, comics, manga, anime, gaming, tabletop chaos, cosplay craftsmanship, fanfiction brilliance, and obscure niche lore - there is something for everyone! Star Shipped by Cat Sebastian  Book Review by The Millennial Menace Book Rating : 10/10 Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tart Vibes: Legendary. Pure joy.   Hi. I think I just started a blog.   Yes. I know. It’s 2026 and I started a blog. lol. (I really am a Millennial, so I need my emotional support 'lol's okay? Let me live.) Some people buy sourdough starters. Some people train for marathons.  Some people max out their 401(k)s. I have two cats, endless stacks of unread books, and a deeply committed relationship with coffee and fan fiction (but w e’re not ready for that conversation yet.) This blog is for the rest of us who should be saving for a house but instead are percolating in plans to paint our walls emerald green (yeah, I see you), dream of floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, and have strong opinions about fictional characters. For my Comic-Con warriors and bookies who read about perilous quests, creepy shit, heartfelt hijinks with a dash of LGBTQ+, and enchanted tomfoolery...  Word. Big same.  Cue the Chaos.
